Review of September 14 Show
A comfortable environment, away from all those concerns that seem to attach to our lives to dampen our spirit and hide from us those special times that make us smile and enjoy life. I feel fortunate to allow these feelings and ideas a place to exist. The music, the atmosphere, surounded by kindred spirits, easily makes this a special experience for me. I dont doubt most of you have felt the same way after experiencing CoyoteRidge. Our typical HouseConcert consists of one or two performances each date from artists in our town, to as far away as Nashville and Boston. Geography aside, every performance will make you wonder why you dont experience something that makes you feel so alive more often! Experience Live Music at CoyoteRidge for yourself and come back as often as you can. Its not that hard to allow yourself to feel good!

$12 donation to support the performers and live music! BYOB! Soda, water, coffee and light snacks are available. All shows start at 8pm. Get here early... Hang out!

It was another full house turnout for Jan Corliss and Loretta Hagen. With Jan up first, accompanied by Linda Lambiase
on Djembe and Gary Hagen sitting in on a song, it had the audience, once again, enraptured by her songs, her playing, her whole persona. With her recording career dating back to 1996 for "Broken" and 2004 for "Fade", it's easy to understand how she amassed this talent. Very quite and unassuming, I think she has finally started to believe that people really want to hear more from her, and I hear a new recording may be in the near future. Myself, and the audience, always enjoy when Jan performs for us.

As for Loretta (joined by Gary Hagen and Linda Lambiase), her performance just energizes the audience in ways that her live shows can only do. I have witnessed audiences smiling, laughing, crying, and all emotion in between. You feel like you've personally been invited to one of the best party's you've ever been to! Her music and lyrics are created from the heart, and many from personal experiences. Simple, complex, understated...the guitar playing by both Loretta and Gary make your head spin in wondering just how in sync two players can actually be! I'll be a fan forever!
